I usually have to make popcorn after using this lube. Really smells like buttered popcorn. Works great smells great!
I'm on my 4th bottle of Chain Butter and my bike is addicted to that creamy goodness like a French chef. I met the Bike Hardcore guys a couple years ago and they graciously gave me a bottle of Chain Butter. I was skeptical because most products (bike related or not) are me-toos and not worth the money. So, before going all in with Chain Butter, I tested it against Rock & Roll Gold, DuMonde Tech, and TriFlow. In that highly (un)scientific test, I did a deep clean on my drivetrain each time, applied a lube, and rode for as many miles as I could before things got nasty/clunky/grimey. The Butter got around 80 miles before a hint of noise came from my drivetrain compared to anywhere from 40 to 60 for the others. That was good enough to sell me. Another testament to how good this is stuff is has been this summer's (2021) adventure: my wife and I have been riding the Continental Divide on our MTBs. Chain Butter is a staple in our bikes' diets. We've put about 2k miles on the bikes during the ride and I've only had to apply lube a few times a week. It's pretty remarkable, actually. Anyway, I'm sold. I'm hopeful there are flavors in the works for no other reason than fun. #MyBikeIsFatAdapted
Love the chain butter. Looks great, feels great, smells great!
Used it for the first time and PR’d my local segment. I love this stuff
Yo. Cleaned my bike. Added chain butter. Hit the road. Chain was quiet. Quiet like the stealth freakin' ninja I was on my Sunday ride. Just a telltale aroma of popcorn as rode the rollers of New England.
